Happy Sunday, everyone!
I have a real treat for you today! It’s called The Slope, and it’s a new lesbian web series created by a Brooklyn-based couple.
I’ve seen more than a few lesbian web series in my day; it’s a medium that has become very useful for the LGBT community, since getting our stories told by television networks is a crap shoot at best, and a homophobic nightmare at worst.
But I am here to tell you that The Slope is different from any other series I have seen. The stars, Desiree and Ingrid, bring a believable, punchy, and often dry humor that is unexpected and refreshing.
Below is the first episode from The Slope, titled “Miserable Animals.”
And the good news is that Episode 2 premieres tomorrow, so you won’t have to wait long for more!
