Last week I auditioned to become a part of a collaborative youtube channel that focuses on LGBT issues. The group is known as “Your Fruit Loops” and can be found here. Every week, each of the members weighs in on a particular topic; for example, last week’s theme was “Do you believe in a gay happily ever after?” Recently, a spot opened up and I decided to give auditioning a shot.
I believe really strongly in their cause, and I think that youtube is an excellent resource for young people just coming out – I know it was for me.
I should find out if I got a spot early next week. I am hopeful, but regardless of the results, I had fun making the video!
